How does the medication work?
Pantoprazole salt is a proton pump inhibitor that means it inhibits gastric acid secretion in the stomach cells.

An oral dose is before food daily once can solve all the acidity issues. You must continue the dosage for 2 to 4 weeks and consult your doctor for best results.
Gastric ulcer
An oral dose is once daily before breakfast. Continue the medication for 4 to 8 weeks before you consult your doctor.
Acid Reflux
The recommended oral dose for acid reflux is daily in the morning once before breakfast. Continue it for 4 to 8 weeks.
GERD
In case of maintenance, a dosage of, 20 mg pantoprazole tablet daily before breakfast is recommended.
Pantocid overdose does not cause any serious issues. In case you missed a dose, you can have Pantocid after food but make sure two doses are not very close.
Careful with Contraindications of Pantocid:
If you have faced hypersensitivity to pantoprazole, please let your doctor know. Pantocid has not been established safe for kids. If you have had liver function issues in the past, you must avoid the drug.
