Precautions before taking Orofer XT Tablet

Inform your doctor if you are taking medications for any kind of health problems, over the counter products like vitamins, herbal supplements, etc., allergies, pre-existing diseases, and current health conditions like pregnancy, upcoming surgery, etc. If you have been suffering from any health problems, you are more likely to get the side-effects of the drug. Taking more than prescribed Orofer XT Tablet may cause harmful side effects. Consult your doctor if you suffer any kind of side effects.

Missing dosage

If missed certain regular dose, take as earliest possible, and if it is nearing next dosage, then skip the missed dose and carry on with next regular dose. Never use extra doses.

General warnings:


It is recommended not to use this medicine along with alcohol. Not recommended for patients suffering from alcoholic cirrhosis, a condition of liver damage due to excess consumption of alcohol.


Generally, this medicine is prescribed for pregnant women, to supply with sufficient Iron, and Vitamin B9 and support healthy blood cells (RBC) level, and healthy growth of the baby.
