What is Nicotex?

Nicotex Gum is most useful to provide a temporary substitution for the nicotine craving in cigarette smokers. Nicotine is the primary element in the cigarette that makes it addictive. Nicotex Gum is a perfect substitute for people who are trying to quit smoking as they do not face any withdrawal symptoms. The active ingredient in Nicotex is Nicotine Polacrilex. Nicotex Dosage

The dosage depends upon the number of cigarettes the patient was used to in a day.

Consuming 25 or more Cigarettes a day- If the patient’s body is used to consuming 25 or more cigarettes a day, he must use 4 mg Nicotine gums for 12 weeks as per the below frequency.

  • For the 1st week to 6th Week: Consume 1 piece of Nicotex gum for every 1-2 hours.
  • For 7th Week to 9th Week: Consume 1 piece of Nicotex gum for every 2-4 hours
  • For 10th Week to 12th Week: Consume 1 piece of Nicotex gum every 4-8 hours.
  • Consuming Less than 25 Cigarettes a day – If the patient’s body is used to consuming less than 25 cigarettes a day, he must use 2 mg Nicotine gums for 12 weeks as per the below frequency.
  • For the 1st week to 6th Week: Consume 1 piece of Nicotex gum for every 1-2 hours.
  • For 7th Week to 9th Week: Consume 1 piece of Nicotex gum for every 2-4 hours
  • For 10th Week to 12th Week: Consume 1 piece of Nicotex gum every 4-8 hours.
  • Consuming more than 24 pieces of Nicotex a day can prove hazardous.
