What is Jardiance?
Jardiance is a prescription medicine recommended to be used in the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus in adult patients. This medicine is generally prescribed as a combination therapy along with other medicine or alone as an individual medication depending on the patient’s health condition. For best results, it is advised to use this medicine along with a proper guided diet plan and exercise regime.

The key ingredient Empagliflozin belongs to the class of drugs called sodium-glucose co-transporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitors.

This medicine basically belongs to anti-diabetic drugs and works by removing the excess amount of sugar present in the body through urine.

If the blood glucose levels are low or high, the mental and physical alertness may be affected. In such conditions, it is not advised to do activities such as driving which require alertness.
Effect of overdose Jardiance
Serious adverse effects such as hypoglycemia may be possible if overdosage happens in large quantities. Consult your doctor immediately in such situations.
Effect of using expired Jardiance?
