Also used to treat GI tract infections (Intestine & stomach), skin structures infections (Acne or pimples) and sexually transmitted diseases. Azithral 500 is also effective against certain urinary tract infections, such as cervicitis and non-gonococcal urethritis. Azithral 500 is used in the treatment of community-acquired pneumonia which is a most common type of lung infection caused by Haemophilus influenzae and Streptococcus pneumoniae.
